Apache requires proper configuration of your network (IP, DNS, etc.). If you would like to use Apache only with loopback, you probably must set the name of your server in /var/lib/httpd/conf/httpd.conf by uncommenting and proper setting line with ServerName. Then try: httpd ; lynx http://localhost/ and viola ;-) Root of your new Web site is in directory /var/lib/httpd/htdocs.DosEmu 0.64.4You probably want to set these values in /var/lib/httpd/conf/srm.conf:
# UserDir: The name of the directory which is appended onto a user's home # directory if a ~user request is recieved. UserDir public_html # DirectoryIndex: Name of the file or files to use as a pre-written HTML # directory index. Separate multiple entries with spaces. DirectoryIndex index.html
