Requirements ------------ * x86 compatible processor (386 or higher) * 1.44 floppy drive * Ethernet network card (3Com, Western Digital, NE2000 and many others) * at least 16 megs of RAM (Brutalware itself takes like 9 megs) * MS-DOS or Windows 95/98 (Windows NT?) or * bootable floppy drive (see README.TXT) Supported hardware ------------------ See kernel.cfg for full list of supported hardware. What to do if your hardware is not supported -------------------------------------------- At first you should try to compile your own kernel. It's simple, just build a custom kernel using standard procedures and then copy the zImage file to A:\kernel\zimage (under DOS). If you don't know how to compile your own kernel, or the problem persists, don't hesitate to contact BrutalWare Inc. at brutalware@hysteria.sk and tell me what hardware seems to produce the problem, I will try to add support for it to the next release of Brutalware Linux.
